Angelica

Angelica first began her nursing career at Children’s Health of Atlanta at Egleston then Arthur M. Blank Hospital, working with children with Neurology, Neurosurgery, Type One Diabetes, and other endocrine disorders, fueled by her diagnosis of T1D. While working, she returned to school and obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in Pediatric Primary Care in 2024. As a Houston native, Angelica has been surrounded by diversity throughout her life, and enjoys working with all populations. Angelica is also a native Spanish speaker. She chose primary care as it allows her the opportunity to establish lasting relationships with families. When Angelica is not working, she can be found attending concerts, Braves games, knitting, or thrifting. Like nursing, these activities bring something different every day and bring her joy.
